This year’s Wreaths Across America theme, “Remember Me,” reminds us that behind every veteran’s name is a life, a family, and a story of service and sacrifice worthy of remembrance.
Every wreath placed is more than a Christmas decoration—it is a promise to our veterans: “We remember you. We honor you. We will not forget.”
On National Wreath Day, Saturday, December 19th, we will gather at noon in the Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church Cemetery to honor the veterans laid to rest among us.
Wreaths are $17 each and may be sponsored online at:
https://wreathsacrossamerica.org/SCMHLC
Order forms are also available on the Welcome Center in the Narthex.
The completed form along with a check made payable to Wreaths Across America may be returned to the church office or to The Schmidt Family.
Please reach out to Laurie Schmidt at TLSCHMIDT@bellsouth.net or (803) 629-6227 for additional information or questions.
Please help us answer the call to “Remember Me” by sponsoring a wreath and joining us on December 19th as we remember their lives, honor their service, and teach future generations the true cost of freedom.
