For 135 years, Mt. Horeb has been a gathering place for people seeking faith, community, and purpose. Whoever you are and wherever you've been — there is room for you here.
Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church was founded in 1891 with a simple conviction: that the Gospel is for everyone. That conviction hasn't changed. What started as a small congregation in Chapin, South Carolina has grown into a vibrant community of people at every stage of life and faith.
We're not a perfect church — we're a church made of people who know they need grace. If you're seeking something real, something that holds, you're in exactly the right place.
